A few last pics of Singapore! A wonderful city with the nicest people. The 44 hour layover was the best choice for my wallet, but I would have liked a few more days here. I’ll be back!

Sweet Baby Jesus and all that is holy! I had the hot flash to end all hot flashes in the taxi on my way to Singapore airport. One of those that started from the top of my head all the way to my toes. Every single pore of my body got in on the action and I looked like a drowned rat with sweat dripping off my nose and the ends of my hair. The poor taxi driver. Just let me get out my travel towel and wipe the seat down! FFS!!

Singapore Changi airport has bumped Amsterdam Schiphol airport out of first place on my list of favourite airports! I could have spent the entire day here. This is what greeted me after passport checks!

It’s a sign 😍 I need a new bag.

Happy Anniversary to my Mom and Dad today ❤️ They are my role models and my Dad is the best there is. My Mom is awesome!

I flew on Garuda Indonesia from Singapore to Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia this afternoon. Bali is absolutely gorgeous! I can’t wait to explore tomorrow. Here are some shots from the air ~ leaving Singapore and arriving in Bali.

After the severe bathroom trauma of the last hostel, I booked what I thought was a cheap hotel. It’s cheap by Canadian dollar standards, but oh so nice. Starbucks is next door and the Hard Rock is down the road so I’ve already got Bryan his t-shirt.

This is all mine! I do not have to share this bathroom with messy strangers. Mine, mine, mine. All MINE!!!!

I’m on the beach 💕 There is a rooftop pool and bar. I had supper, a glass of white and watched the sunset.

When push comes to shove, I really am a homebody. I like being at home, cozy, surrounded by my loved ones and treasures. My meagre belongings are spread all over this hotel room and I’m settled away in bed watching The Mummy. It’s 8:00 pm. Goodnight!

Happy Travels 💕
