Goodbye Yurt!

We were up bright and early and hit the road to Bishkek.  It was a great drive with a few stops along the way.

Burana Tower

Burana Tower is a large minaret built in the 11th century with an external staircase.  Part of the ancient city of Balasagun, there are also grave markers, some earthworks and the remnants of a castle and three mausoleums.

Don Aryk

Don Aryk is a village established in 1929.  We stopped here for lunch.

Bishkek
