You’ve seen them in the movies! Remember “Entrapment”? Disaster movies that show various landmarks around the world usually feature them.

These towers were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 until 2004 when they were surpassed by Taipei 101. They remain the world’s tallest twin towers.

PETRONAS Twin Towers

I bought my ticket online and loved being able to start seeing them as I was walking over.

I got my Visitor Pass and had my picture taken!

The first stop was the Skybridge which connects the two towers on the 41st and 42nd floors.

This little girl wanted her picture taken with me. So her Dad took one, then with her brother and then with both of them. ❤️

Next stop was the 86th floor and the Observation Deck.

In the background is a copy of Canada’s CN Tower. I had the most informative conversation with a gentleman who worked at PETRONAS about the tall buildings of the world.

The rest of the day was errands and chores!

  • Bought new sneakers to replace the ones I left behind somewhere 🤷‍♀️
  • Mailed a parcel home to Bryan with the stuff I’ve purchased and collected so far along with some clothes I’m not wearing
  • Hard Rock for Bryan’s T-shirt
  • Went to the laundromat to wash my stinky clothes and discovered that when I looked up, this is what I saw

  1. Hi from Malta! Heading to Zurich Friday. Thanx for the photos of the towers. Will have to do that excursion when Peter and I are there in September. Nothing like stopping for a while and doing ‘domestics’. I had 1/2 day Monday like that and I was able to relax, reflect and read a book!

    Enjoy your time in Asia

    1. Hi Malta!! Loving your pics. I want to go there someday. It’s relaxing to do the domestics and not be running around sometimes. I’ve been reading a lot on the plane rides and enjoying it.
