Luxembourg and it’s capital, Luxembourg City was fabulous!  Luxembourg is in Western Europe surrounded by Belgium, Germany and France.  Medieval castles, hiking, viewpoints and a Louboutin shoe store!

I rolled into Luxembourg City doing the milk run on a train from Poland.  I met a fellow Canadian from Toronto on the train and we had a few beers.  Although I had a global train pass, I still needed to make a reservation for some trains, especially the overnight trains.  I managed to get a compartment all to myself and got some sleep.

It’s the little things that you see while travelling that are sometimes the most fascinating.  A train carrying cars and motorcycles and a toilet that wipes off the seat when you flush.

I had a beautiful room!

I had the best time in the Christian Louboutin store – the ladies were fabulous and let me take a ton of pictures (even though I was a hot, sweaty, frizzy mess).

Wandering around and exploring Luxembourg City was fascinating!  So many interesting things to see ~ parks, a War Memorial, churches and fountains.

The view looking out over the old centre.

The church bells!

Constitution Square is a city square with a memorial obeslisk.

The Panoramic Elevator of the Pfaffenthal was a lookout to view the city – what wonderful views!  I loved the glass bottom!

I didn’t get to see and do everything, but I enjoyed my time in Luxembourg!

Happy Travels!
