Pera Palace Hotel
Built in 1892, the Pera Palace Hotel is in Istanbul and I must stay in the Agatha Christie room. She wrote “Murder on the Orient Express” while staying in this room.
Cappadocia
Famous for geological features called fairy chimneys, caves, and hot air balloons, Cappadocia is magical.
Göbekli Tepe
The oldest temple in the world.
Mount Ararat
According the the Bible, Noah’s Ark is on Mount Ararat. It looks like folks can’t hike to the summit anymore so I’ll have to settle for the views.
Pamukkale
Thermal waters and submerged Roman columns.
