A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak (Sunrise Peak) is 180m above sea level and erupted underwater in the ocean about 5,000 years ago. The crater is about 600 meters in diameter and 90 meters deep. It is also one of The New 7 Wonders of Nature.
