I departed from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on Turkish Airlines and arrived at JFK in New York at 5:55 pm and was on my way to the hotel. After a good sleep I was up bright and early heading out for a Starbucks and bagels. Bring on the New York shenanigans!

Louis Vuitton Cafe
The LV Cafe is located on the fourth floor of the flagship Louis Vuitton store at 6 East 57th Street. Reservations are absolutely required and can be booked 28 days out at midnight New York time.
Everything had the LV logo on it ~ even the butter! I had the Crisp Monogram Waffle with Caviar and Le Club ‘Pont-Neuf’ along with Chocolate Entremet for dessert.
I took a caesar salad back to the hotel for supper along with my leftovers ~ in a Louis Vuitton bag. On my way out I stopped and bought chocolates! The whole experience was worth every penny and worth a repeat next time I see a LV Cafe.
Saks
My favourite place! A trip to New York is not complete without a visit to Saks to browse the Christian Louboutin store and see if the Christmas bulbs are out yet ~ they weren’t. But I got a pair of boots!

Roosevelt Island
Roosevelt Island
Out & About
I took the ferry from Roosevelt Island to Brooklyn where I indulged in Grimaldi’s pizza and walked back across the Brooklyn Bridge!

Here and there …
Before I knew it I was on my way to embark the Queen Mary 2 at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal for the Transatlantic Crossing from New York to Southampton with Cunard.
Happy Travels!
