“It is never too late or too soon.  It is when it is supposed to be.”  Mitch Albom, The Time Keeper

I’m convinced I was a Highlander’s wife in a previous life.  I love all things Scotland and am super excited to be returning.  I plan to touch every standing stone I come across to see if I can fall through time.  I don’t understand why it didn’t work before?  My favourite thing to do in London is watch The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre and it is a must-do again this trip.

The shenanigans end with a very long flight to LA to see The Stadium Tour.  The Floor.  Section A4.  Row 8.  Motley Crue, Poison, Def Leppard and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts!  I’ve seen them all before many times except for Joan Jett.  Very excited to see her perform and hope she does some of the Runaways songs.

I’m confident there will be a little bit of shopping in Harrod’s and on Rodeo Drive.  A gal always needs a new pair of shoes or two or three … and maybe a handbag.

The Original Plan

We had a Windstar Cruise booked since before COVID ~ it’s been rescheduled, ports changed and then the cruise itself changed.  It is just not our time to do The Beauty of the Baltic & Kiel Canal cruise.  This lovely itinerary was completely changed (including the embarkation port) so we cancelled it.  It’s disappointing, but we’re doing our own thing instead.

The Route ~ 7 Countries

I don’t get to log a new country this trip, but there are a couple places I haven’t been before ~ Isle of Harris and Munich.  Rental cars and the other side of the road are in scope again this trip and I’m driving in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland (cross your fingers!).

Sweden 🇸🇪

  • Stockholm

Germany 🇩🇪

  • Munich

Ireland 🇮🇪

Northern Ireland 🇬🇧

  • Bushmills
  • Belfast

Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ~ Outlander Things ~ Seeking Jamie Fraser

England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ~ All Things Royal and a Phantom

United States 🇺🇸

Home Sweet Home Canada 🇨🇦

  • The Stadium Tour – Again!  When you’re a little bit Crüe crazy and additional concert dates are offered ~ you buy more. Same concert 2 weekends in a row! The perfect way to wrap up the summer.
